| Japanese people usually like to have picnics at the riverside. We went to
Ohme on the outskirts of Tokyo on Sunday, June 21,1998. These are some pictures
taken on the banks of Tama river, an oasis in urban Tokyo. |

| Many people like to play baseball everywhere. Little league was played in
the mealtime of BBQ using rolled paper bat and aluminum foil ball. |

Sometime we enjoy fishing when we have BBQ party at the river side. That
day we saw fishermen in wading boots, I was surprised because they look
like real fishermen working in the fish shop. Fishing is very popular in
Japan, people go to river side or lake side to enjoy fishing on weekends.
There are a lot of kinds fish in Japan such as trout, bass, carp and sweet
fish. In this river we expect to catch sweet fish . It is a very tasty fish. |

| Food tastes good when you enjoy it with friends.There are many drinks and
foods ,for example kiwiwine,sangria,beer,cheese cracker,Japanese pickles,watermelon
and off course roasted lamb. |

We had a happy time. After the BBQ party, we took some pictures as a souvenir.
Japanese people like to take some pictures together at every event as a
souvenir, so that we never forget the day. We have four seasons in Japan,
so we have many different activities to go outside. |
